Becoming a Christian.

Admit that we have messed up! Romans 3v23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” - John 1v9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

Believe John 3v16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Col 1v19 “For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him (Christ), and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.” 2 Cor 5v21 “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” John 14v6 “Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Commit – 2 Tim 1v12 – “I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day.”

Receive - John 1v12 “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” Acts 2v38 “Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit
