Missionary Evening
Friday 16th May from 7:30-9:00pm
Next Mission focus evening will be held in Alison and Paul Dickinson's home, 19 MorayPark Lane, Culloden
This will take the form of writing cards to encourage those in the persecuted church. There will also be a time of prayer from 8:00-8:30
This will be an informal evening so peolple welcome to come for the whole time or just drop in for a while

A creative praise and worship event for primary aged Christian groups in and around Inverness in partnership with Scripture Union Scotland and sponsored by Out of the Box (Scotland) Ltd.

Link Missionary Meeting
Sunday 25th May at 6:30pm in Castle Street Baptist Church. Come along and meet our new Link Missionaries, Graeme and Jenny Riddell
At present they are at college preparing, but expect to leave, for Uganda in August 2008
Jenny is a lawyer and Graeme a teacher
Although they have been living and working in the South of England, their home base is Scotland and home church is Perth BC
It is hoped that Iain and Fiona Craighead will visit us for the last time during the summer

Baptist Union Sports Day
Saturday 31st May at Stirling University
Young people from Baptist Churches all over Scotland will take part in sporting events including Athletics (track & field), Badminton, Football, Netball, Swimming and Table Tennis
We need help from anyone who can help with any of these events, in particular we are short of football and netball referees, but all the events could do with additional volunteers to ensure they run smoothly and safely.

Building Project Gift Day
Sunday 1st June
Pray about this important day in the life of our Church Family, when the sacrificial offerings of God’s people will go towards fulfilling the vision that the Lord has given us for our Church Building.
Further Gift Day is planned for 2 November and 1 March 2009.

Hill Walk - The Badachro Liberator
Sunday 8th June
In the hills above Badachro near Gairloch lie the wrecage of an American bomber that crashed there at the end of WWII
It is an eerir spot but a pretty straight forward walk
If the weather is good we can finish the day with a paddle on the beach

Hill Walk - The Three Brothers
Saturday 12th July
On the North side of Glen Shiel lie a long range of hills that provide great walking
The Five Sisiters of Kintail are, of course, famous but their three siblings to the East - Aonach Meadhoin, Sgurr a' Bhealaich Dheirg and Saileag - can be easily accessed from the road up very steep slopes
Should be a good day bagging three Munros in quick succession before returning to the road several miles from our start point where we'll try and position a couple of cars to prevent a long walk back

Champions Challenge Holiday Club
Monday - Friday 4th-8th August
Barn Church would be delighted if folks from CBC would like to join with them in the running of the Champions Challenge holiday club, which is all about our champion, Jesus.
This is a fantastic opportunity to provide a valuable service to the children and families in our community and to share God's love and Good News
There are all sorts of roles to play within the team, both in the run-up to the holiday club and during the week itself
